All about FaceTite

FaceTite is a non-surgical procedure that uses radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) to deliver results similar to that of a traditional, surgical facelift. This is an excellent option for those who want to rejuvenate their face and neck, but who aren’t ready for surgery yet. FaceTite safely administers radiofrequency heat energy to areas of the face and neck to melt fat and tighten loose, saggy skin. The procedure also stimulates brand-new collagen growth, which helps the skin become firmer and more youthful. The majority of patients see results after just one treatment, with improvements continuing over the course of a 6-12 week period.

Commonly treated areas with FaceTite

  • Forehead
  • Jawline
  • Eyes
  • Neck
  • Mouth
  • Cheeks
  • Jowls
  • Brow
  • Nasolabial folds

Recovery and results

The majority of FaceTite patients are able to go back to their regular activities 3-5 days following treatment, depending on how comfortable you are being seen, as you will have some swelling, bruising, and redness during recovery. You may also feel tender and sore. Depending on the level of treatment you have, you may also need to wear a compression garment for a few days.

Exercise should be avoided until we let you know it’s okay to resume it. This is usually about two weeks. The skin instantly tightens by approximately 40% after your first FaceTite session, and the new collagen that was kick-started will continue to progress for 3-8 weeks. The tightening process lasts for about six months, and your results will be long-lasting — up to five years — if you maintain a stable weight and a healthy lifestyle.

FaceTite treatment details

FaceTite is an in-office procedure that is typically done with the patient under local anesthesia (via injections) and light sedation. Before treatment begins, your face will be cleansed and marked to help guide your aesthetician.

Your aesthetician will use a cannula to create tiny incisions into targeted areas of the face so that the FaceTite probe can have access. This probe has been designed to address sagging skin without the need for any sutures, which means no scars are left behind.

The FaceTite probe will pass through the underlying tissues of the face and/or neck, working with both internal and external parts in order to treat above and under the skin simultaneously. Built-in safeguards allow your aesthetician to treat the deep layers of tissue without causing any damage to the top layer of the dermis. A FaceTite procedure generally takes about one hour. Depending on your specific aesthetic goals, you may require more than one treatment. During your consultation, we can let you know how many treatments you’ll need.
